Over 40 local business, state and local government representatives and community organisations from the G21 Region came together for the GROW Summit late February. Convened by independent evaluators Clear Horizon Consulting, the whole day workshop analysed the progress of the GROW initiative during its Start-Up Phase and priorities for greater impact moving forward.
Key learnings and the final evaluation will be released at the GROW Report Card in May. In the meantime, GROW participants offered the following insights:
“Before GROW we were not fully aware of how much work was sourced from outside Geelong.”
“[Government] can now look at social impact as a genuine part of the economic narrative…”
“GROW is the voice, the vehicle, the constant…”
“…everyone [who is part of GROW] shares the same vision for helping people…”
