In 2015, we appointed ArcBlue to undertake a comprehensive consultancy, modelling the opportunity for local and social procurement in our region, with 180 businesses participating.
With our GROW partners, we launched the Regional Plan in 2016 to work jointly towards these targets for 2020:
Moving 7% of the G21 Regional expenditure from non-local to local suppliers generating
- 2500 jobs including 500 jobs for GROW targeted communities
- $1bn into regional economy each year
