Norris Group are a local family owned and operated Civil Construction company with over 220 staff, who joined GROW in 2018. They told us: “We had always promoted local business, but we realised we needed to increase our networks and collaborate more with the broader GROW community. We saw the benefits of developing more local relationships, especially in relation to social procurement.
What has happened since joining GROW is how quickly and efficiently we’ve been able to make connections, enabling us to quickly respond and act together to implement projects and employment.
This has led to a range of outcomes including job carving, enabling employment of young people with barriers to work. We have looked at social enterprises and changed our spending habits.
We are now part of a collective approach to creating more inclusive working environments that support diverse employees.”
