Alcoa Foundation Social Procurement Toolkit launch

alcoa-foundationOn September 16, GROW and the Alcoa Foundation are delighted to launch the Social Procurement Toolkit, the first of its kind in Australia.

The Toolkit is a series of ground-breaking and innovative tools and templates to support local/social procurement and local economic development in the G21 Region. These tools have been crafted by ArcBlue (Procurement Specialists) working closely with the GROW Compact Action Network in response to the identified needs of these key buyers and suppliers.

The Toolkit will help G21 businesses achieve local and social outcomes, particularly when preparing tenders and contracting work, including capital projects. An ongoing project, the Toolkit will be continually updated and expanded to meet the needs of procurers and suppliers working towards the GROW objectives of addressing disadvantage in the G21 region.
