Inclusive Employment Workshops

Workforce Australia Local Jobs (Barwon), in partnership with GROW an initiative of the Give Where You Live Foundation, invites local businesses across the Geelong region to take part in a series of inclusive employment workshops.

Over four targeted sessions, these expert-facilitated workshops will provide practical tools and real-world guidance on how to:

  • Employ and support underrepresented cohorts from diverse backgrounds
  • Build fair, equitable, and inclusive workplaces
  • Strengthen workforce participation and unlock business benefits
  • Contribute to meaningful community impact

Each workshop features a specialised expert panel including inclusive employers, service providers, individuals with lived experience, and key community organisations. Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Share experiences and challenges
  • Ask questions directly to experts
  • Walk away with actionable strategies tailored for local businesses

Workshop Focus Areas

  1. Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities
  2. Disability inclusion
  3. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander inclusion
