The Give Where You Live Foundation‘s GROW initiative is excited to again be working with Development Victoria on another major project in Geelong that will deliver inclusive employment outcomes.
The Armstrong Creek Sports Centre will be a new multi-sport facility with four indoor multi-sport courts, a civic plaza and site carparking. It is one of 16 sporting infrastructure projects which are being built or upgraded across the state as part of the Victorian Government’s Regional Sports Infrastructure Program, with five projects across the Geelong and Surf Coast region as part of the program.
GROW is a social procurement initiative, supporting employment outcomes for people with barriers to employment, with a priority focus on people experiencing long-term unemployment and suburbs of high unemployment in the G21 region.
We look forward to seeing the Armstrong Creek Sports Centre come to life and will share more details about the project shortly.
